Inspire Curiosity and Innovation

Context: With industry disruption, 72andSunny needed to adopt an innovative mindset and create new types of assets.

Strategy: We designed and delivered an innovation lab that was prominently positioned near the entrance of the company, serving as a visual reminder of the commitment to experimentation and creative risk-taking. The rotating 7 person, multidisciplinary team experimented at the intersection of art, tech, experiential design and storytelling.

We created a piece of art that is also an instrument, we developed a real time drawing portal between the LA and AMS office, we redefined the live music experience, we visualized risk and 3D printed the risk profiles in porcelain, we made an interactive music video that creates a unique story each time and we developed a device for measuring the environment based on the science of creativity.

Role: Strategist, Executive Producer and Program Director

Impact: The program expanded organizational capabilities, leading to the hiring of creative technologists as part of the team. Our innovations received press and landed 72andSunny on Fast Company’s, ‘Most Innovative Companies’ list.
