I launched an ArtMarket and provided mandatory training to support their success. Prep workshop covered: pricing strategy, tabling, talking to customers, talking about their work. Because it was a low stakes way for students to dip their toe in, ⅓ of the participants had never priced or sold

short form videos focused on answering the most common questions students have around freelancing and starting a business. The library is designed for search and action, each video answers one question and has an accompanying worksheet or template to support putting the knowledge into action.
Art Center
I was hired to increase the ROI of the ArtCenter education through experiential learning that supports our grad’s practical business skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
I conducted design research, interviewing 30+ students, alumni and faculty to map the entrepreneurial landscape and identify needs. I then developed programming and resources to support students at every phase of their time at ArtCenter from Art Market which gives a low stakes entry point into entrepreneurship (⅓ of participants had never priced or sold their work before) to Catalyst Studio, a 10 week intensive program for recent grads who want to pursue an independent path and develop their own clients and customers.
